Augusta National

Augusta National is a marvelous Masters’ course among the best golf courses of the world, established by Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts, in 1933 January. Among the best golf courses, it is given third ranking. The designer of this noble scheme was Alister Mackenzie. It is said that Jones and MacKenzie both expressed their craziness for golf through the designing of this huge course.

Augusta National shares a specific work plan for golf, as its environmental complexes for third and fifth tee have been an exemplar of finest designs ever made. Now exclusive designs of Mackenzie are gone, and many changes took place here. This best golf course hosts an extensive range of tournaments and boasts of having good names of golfers linked to it.

Augusta National Golf Club is situated the city of Augusta in Georgia, The Big Oak Tree of 1850 and Eisenhower Tree is other natural features along with some architectural dash like Crow's Nest, Hogan Bridge, Magnolia Lane, and Nelson Bridge etc. It is an 18 hole course, and each hole is assigned with an exclusive name after a tree or shrub, to which it is associated. “Amen Corner” is a given name to the specific shots of this Masters’ course, as 11th, 12th and the 13th tee shots are recognized with this name.
